The details
Prices are in US dollars; the App Store shows them in your own currency. Subscriptions are billed through Apple and renew until you cancel, which you can do any time from your App Store subscriptions. Annual plans are paid up front. Paid plans meter weekly: the counter resets at midnight on Sunday night in your own timezone, so an allowance sold as a monthly number is spread evenly across the month rather than spent all at once.
The Free plan is a pool, not a calendar: use it in an afternoon or over a year. Once it is spent, everything you recorded stays readable and you can subscribe whenever you like. The pool counts every conversation an account has ever made, so it does not refill after a subscription ends.
